Active on Facebook, the French association Kaokig aim to highlight the kigu hobby to the general public. Kaokig manage a booth during the Japan Expo at Paris; the biggest French convention dedicated to the Japanese culture. It is possible to meet kigs there from the four corners of Europe.

Previously named KSZ for « Kigurumi Shame Zone » ; the new KIG is the biggest discord server known among the kig community. It regroups hundreds of kigs worldwide. Admission is possible through invitation and non-kigs people are welcome as well. Aside from kigs, the server also gather some makers, artists (drawer, 3D artist, photographer...) and many curious.
The KFC is the discord server entierly dedicated to the European-based francophone kigs community. The server gathers several dozen of active kigs mostly in France, Switzerland and Belgium. Admission is possible only through direct invitation and reserved for kigs players.
